"Cell's Perfect Form, Interrupted?!" is the three hundred and seventy-ninth chapter of the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the 1992 #29 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.

Summary

Cell wonders about this "Super Vegeta" business, and Vegeta says he cannot be bothered to explain it all. He says Cell should be more worried about himself, since it looks hopeless for him. Kuririn, still floating over the island, says Cell has changed since before. He fears that Cell has already reached his perfect form, and they went through the trouble of making this controller for nothing. Enraged, Cell swats his tail at Vegeta, but Vegeta jumps over it and kicks Cell. Then he kicks Cell in the stomach, and knocks Cell down into the water. Kuririn cannot believe Vegeta's power, and then spots Trunks on the island, saying he has gotten strong too. And then he spots the two artificial humans, and figures Cell, Vegeta, and Trunks have not noticed them. Kuririn looks hard at the controller, remembering what Bulma said about needing to be within ten meters, so he stealthily lands on the island.

Kuririn nervously sneaks toward them, realizing that Cell has not reached his perfect form yet. But No. 17 is gone, so he must have been absorbed. Cell climbs out of the water, and Vegeta decides to tell Cell something even more shocking. "That Trunks guy over there... His true strength is nearly up to my level!" Cell looks over at Trunks, and starts to look nervous. But Vegeta is annoyed that Cell was not so incredible after all, and there is almost no need to kill him. Cell then starts screaming: "DAMN IT!!!! If I could only reach my perfect form...!!! Then he'd be nothing to me." Vegeta looks a bit intrigued, as Kuririn approaches the artificial humans.
