This article is about "The Unidentified Flying Object", originally published as the 216th chapter of Dr. Slump in Weekly Shōnen Jump. For "Youth on the Run (Part 2)", see Dr. Slump Chapter 218.

"The Unidentified Flying Object" is the two hundred and sixteenth chapter of the Dr. Slump manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the 1984 #19 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.

This chapter was published as the two hundred and fourteenth chapter in all collected volumes. Chapters 209 and 212 were moved to Tankōbon Volume 18 in order to avoid splitting up the six-part story "Youth on the Run" at the end of Tankōbon Volume 17, and all subsequent collected volumes followed suit though the opposite effect resulted in the kanzenban edition.
