Dragon Ball Part 2 No. 1 is the thirteenth issue of Viz's Dragon Ball Monthly Comics, the original English-language printing of the Dragon Ball manga. It was released in March 1999 alongside the thirteenth issue of the "Dragon Ball Z"-branded chapters.

The limited color title page of chapter 25 is repurposed as a greyscaled title page for chapter 24 on page 1. The title page for chapter 24 is omitted.
Cover Illustration
This issue's Akira Toriyama cover illustration was originally drawn for the cover of Dragon Ball Daizenshuu 1 ("The Complete Illustrations"); it is also included as an insert poster inside the book. The illustration also gets a ¾-page reproduction in the Dragon Ball Chōgashū ("A Visual History").[1]
Advertisements
Page 32 is an advertisement for the Pokémon monthly comics which debuted in March 1999.
The back cover is a full-color advertisement for the Pioneer VHS releases of the "Namek Saga" of Dragon Ball Z, featuring the latest two installments: "The Ginyu Force" (Vol. 16) and "Super Saiyan!?" (Vol. 17). This advertisement is reproduced on the eighth issue's page.
