Dragon Ball Part 3 No. 8 is the thirty-fifth issue of Viz's Dragon Ball Monthly Comics, the original English-language printing of the Dragon Ball manga. It was released in January 2001 alongside the thirty-fifth issue of the "Dragon Ball Z"-branded chapters. All pages in this issue were originally printed in black and white.

The title page of chapter 69 appears on page 1 in its original black and white. The title page of chapter 70 was adapted for the cover of this issue.
Page 24 is an interstitial page taken from Dragon Ball Volume 6. "We interrupt this dull story for a thrilling announcement! General Blue is approaching!! What will happen?! Read the next Dragon Ball!!" General Blue is smug, Bulma is scared, and Goku is ready to fight.
Cover Illustration
This issue's Akira Toriyama cover illustration was drawn for the title page of chapter 70. The illustration gets a quarter-page reproduction in Dragon Ball Daizenshuu 1 ("The Complete Illustrations")[1] and a full-page reproduction in Dragon Ball Chōgashū ("A Visual History").[2]

Page 32 is an advertisement for Viz's shop-by-mail service.
The inside of the back cover is an advertisement for "Dragon Ball" monthly comics and volumes 1-4 (Viz Graphic Novels).
The back cover is a full-color advertisement for various Pioneer releases featuring Cardcaptor Sakura. This ad is reproduced on the page for "Dragon Ball Z" Part 3-10.
