M816 is first used in the first Dragon Ball Z theatrical film as Garlic Jr. summons the Dead Zone.

Additional Usage

Son Goku about to transform into a Super Saiyan for the first time in Dragon Ball Z Episode 95

M816 begins its regular rotation into the Dragon Ball Z television series score with Dragon Ball Z Episode 22, and is last used in Dragon Ball Z Episode 191. Within the series, it is perhaps most notably used during Son Goku's first Super Saiyan transformation in Dragon Ball Z Episode 95.

M816 is also used in the 2008 Jump Super Anime Tour Special as Aka uses the Super Wahaha Wave.

Production

Music for the first Dragon Ball Z theatrical film was recorded 28 June 1989 at Taihei Studios in Shinjuku.
