With 51 days remaining until the film’s debut, the official blog to promote Dragon Ball Z: Revival of “F” has updated with another brief dialogue between Bulma and one of her fellow cast members. This time it’s Piccolo’s turn to share his thoughts on Freeza’s imminent return:
こんにちは！ブルマよ！
公開まであと51日！
今日は……え、ピッコロまできてくれたのね！さあピッコロ、映画について話してちょうだい！なぜ俺が！？
悟飯に言われたから来てみたものの、カウントダウンというものらしいな…
全然分からんが…。なにぶつぶつ言ってんのよ！ほら、今度はフリーザが復活しちゃうらしいじゃない！
あんたもナメック星で闘ったでしょ？そうだ。確かにあの時の俺たちでは歯が立たなかった……。
だが今は……それがそうでもないらしいのよ！
どうやらフリーザは更に強くなってるんですって！
それなのに孫君ときたら、闘うのが楽しみだとか言って、ホント戦闘バカなんだから！あいつはそういうヤツだ。
しかも今回はフリーザが大勢の手下を連れてくるらしいから、あんたもしっかり闘いなさいよね！
むむ・・・そういう事ならば仕方がない……。
Bulma: Hey! Bulma here!

For today…Wow, even Piccolo’s stopped by! Alright Piccolo, tell us about the movie!Piccolo: Why me!? I came over because Gohan asked me to, but apparently this is some sort of countdown…I don’t get this at all…
Bulma: What are you grumbling about?! Look, Freeza’s coming back to life, right?! Didn’t you fight him on Namek?
Piccolo: That’s right. Certainly back then none of us were any match for him, but these days…
Bulma: It doesn’t look like it will be so easy! They say Freeza’s getting even stronger! But when Son-kun heard about it, he just said it’ll be a fun fight. What a battle-mad idiot!
Piccolo: That’s just who he is.
Bulma: To top it all off, it seems Freeza’s bringing over a huge hoard of minions, so you’d better fight hard too!
Piccolo: Mmm…Well in that case, I guess I have to…
The story for Revival of “F”, opening nationwide in Japan 18 April 2015 in 2D and IMAX 3D, is being crafted by original manga author Akira Toriyama, who stated he is writing it, “…as though it were a continuation of the manga when it was in serialization,” and that while it will, “…of course be a continuation of the previous Battle of Gods,” he has also, “…deliberately increased the amount of action scenes by a good deal.” Tadayoshi Yamamuro, who worked for many years as character designer and animation supervisor on the Dragon Ball franchise, will serve as the film’s director and animation supervisor. Norihito Sumitomo will return from Battle of Gods and the Majin Boo arc of Dragon Ball Kai for musical composition duties. Momoiro Clover Z will contribute a song alongside Maximum the Hormone, whose “F” will be used as a “battle song” during the film. Revival of “F” is set to bring back Freeza and will also include two new characters (Sorbet and Tagoma), feature Beerus and Whis again from Battle of Gods, and much more.
