Summary

While Ackman taps away at video games, his father comes in with good news: if all goes well, he has a way to get what's worth 1,000 souls all at once! Gordon can't believe this. A "Wanted Posters for the Demon World" is cracked open, showing a 1,500 year old hermit who likes milkshakes and is good at calligraphy. Ackman's father breaks it down: the soul of this kind of hermit is worth 1,000 souls all on its own. If Ackman goes out and kills him, he'll get a 100,000 yen allowance! Ackman is shook at this amount of money. With this motivation, he's off!

Ackman and Gordon wander off, wondering how they're going to transport 1,000 souls, when they suddenly happen upon an old man — he's sitting alone, drinking a milkshake, and listening to the radio. Ackman consults the book, and it looks like this might be their hermit. Ackman is ready, but Gordon warns him not to let his guard down with his opponent being a sen'nin. they're very formidable opponents who are able to use senjutsu[b]. Ackman is impressed and starting to understand what he's up against, but suddenly wonders if they've been noticed.

Legacy

The Go! Go! Ackman cel comic sequel manga series continues onward from Toriyama's original 11-chapter manga series (published over the course of 1993-1994 in the same magazine), coinciding with and promoting the first Go! Go! Ackman video game for the Nintendo Super Famicom. It was followed by a second and third cel comic series, serving the same purpose in the same magazine.
