Name
Following his initial appearance[2], Bikkura Koiter is initially named solely as "Koiter" (コイター Koitā) by Saganbo[1]. A Galactic Patrol agent later identifies him by a full name of "Bikkura Koiter" (ビックラ・コイター Bikkura Koitā).[3] This full name is likely sourced from びっくらこいた (bikkurakoita), meaning "gobsmacked" or "flabbergasted", adapting the phrase into katakana and elongating the final syllable; such a name pun would fall in line with that of the similar character Otta Magetta from Universe 6.
The character's primary name is rendered as "Quoitur" in Viz's official English localization, possibly seeking inspiration from "turquoise" (ターコイズ tākoizu).[4]

Bikkura Koiter is an original creation for the Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc of the Dragon Ball Super manga by Toyotarō. Explicit details surrounding Bikkura Koiter's design, name, and characteristics have not been divulged.
