Summary

Earth's warriors continue to face off against Saganbo's goons. Piccolo, Gohan, No. 17, and No. 18 have Seven-Three and Shimorekka on the ropes, while Jaco watches over them. Kuririn fights Yunba, while Muten Rōshi fights Iwaza, Miza, and Kikaza. Chiaotzu and Tenshinhan face Bikkura Koiter, and Yamcha faces Zauyogi. Saganbo and Moro watch the fight from the deck of Saganbo's ship.

At God's Temple, Bulma has set up surveillance drones to track the fights and she invites everyone to check out the monitors.[a] Pilaf is impressed with Bulma's craftsmanship. Chi-Chi wants to watch Gohan fight, but the monitor nearest her is just showing Kuririn's fight.

Kuririn attacks Yunba with rapid-fire Kienzan; Yunba manages to dodge them all and punch Kuririn to the ground, but Kuririn still has control over his Kienzan and he directs one of them back to Yunba, slicing his face. Then he calls all of them back, forcing Yunba to dodge again. Yunba tries to dodge strategically and cause Kuririn to be cut with his own attack, but Kuririn uses the afterimage technique to fool him, coming up behind Yunba with a Kamehameha. Yunba is out, and Kuririn asks the Galactic Patrol agents on the scene to take care of him. They salute, telling him they are responsible for escorting that one back to Galactic Prison.

Kuririn hears a commotion nearby as Iwaza, Miza, and Kikaza are being molested by the Turtle Hermit. While Yunba is being loaded up into the Galactic Patrol ship, he takes off to investigate and finds his master on the other end of a pummeling. The old man says those girls are much more than he bargained for. Kuririn asks if he is okay, and he says he is, but those girls will not even let him grope them... that is, his attacks are not hitting. They have to focus! Miza tells him he has some nerve trying to pull that stuff on them, and she hopes he is ready for some payback. Kuririn asks Rōshi why he cannot just use that power he showed against Jiren,[2] but Rōshi says that he has to clear his mind to tap into that power. He wonders if his mind is possessed by some kind of wicked energy, and Kuririn says he thinks he knows what is going on here.

In the north, Tenshinhan and Chiaotzu struggle against Bikkura Koiter; the Galactic Patrol agents with them explain that Koiter is from a race of Metalmen, composed entirely of a metallic substance. Tenshinhan wonders if he is like Otta Magetta from Universe 6; did he not have a weakness? Chiaotzu remembers: insults! At God's Temple, Bulma wonders if Tenshinhan is even capable of insulting someone. He tries, though; in his first attempt, he calls Koiter a "rockhead". Chiaotzu tells him that a Metalman's head is much harder than a rock. Then he tries "half-ton tubby", but Mister Popo realizes that a Metalman weighs much more than a half-ton, so that does not qualify as an insult. Chiaotzu calls him "octopus", but this does not seem to have much of an effect, so he calls him a "half-witted hunk of scrap metal". That does the trick, and Koiter is down. Chiaotzu tells Tenshinhan that he sucks at insulting people.

At God's Temple, Bulma is excited to see that everyone is doing well. Oolong says that he does not get it, but Kuririn and Muten Rōshi seem to be winning too, though the old man had to resort to drastic measures to keep his pervy tendencies in check. Indeed, he is fighting blindfolded, and doing better than he was before; he can still follow the girls' movements even though he cannot see them. Miza does not understand how someone can get stronger by putting on a blindfold. Rōshi warns them to stop being evil or it will come back to bite them; they should head back to Galactic Prison and be grateful for a place to atone. Miza insists that they will never return there. She tells the other girls to get ready; they know what it is time for. Kikaza says she has been waiting for this.

Back at the sanctuary, Oolong panics when he sees what is happening. Bulma asks him what is wrong, and he tells her the girls have fused. Indeed, a giant woman now stands before Kuririn and Muten Rōshi, who no longer has need of his blindfold. The fused woman is more than strong enough to take them on, though; Bulma cannot believe they are losing. Meanwhile, Pu'er is watching Yamcha get his butt kicked by Zauyogi. Esca looks up and sees Saganbo's ship descending; he lets Dende know, and they realize the real fight is about to begin.

As No. 17 moves in to finish the job with Seven-Three, Moro shows up to save him, though he admonishes him for using his powers casually again. Shimorekka apologizes, but insists they did not stand a chance otherwise. Moro tosses him aside and tells Shimorekka to help him recover; he will need his power again later. Saganbo orders Shimorekka to get him back to the ship. No. 17 wonders if he should really let him get away, but Piccolo and Gohan are focused on Moro, whose power is on another level. Gohan echoes his father's thoughts about Moro's ki,[3] saying it feels like the death cries of countless people, and pure evil. Jaco says that is because he stole his ki from everyone he has killed.

Moro observes that "those two" are not here, but Gohan tells him they are coming; they are training to get strong enough to beat him. Until then, protecting the Earth is their job. Moro appreciates his boldness, but tells him to calm himself; he is in a good mood. Gohan asks him why, and Moro says it is because he had the good fortune of coming upon this planet. It is rare to find one with some many strong people, and it would be a waste to consume all of them at once. He wonders how he should go about preparing this dish, and No. 18 thinks he is a creep.

Saganbo offers to prepare these ones for Moro; his bandit brigade is not known for retreating after getting beaten. Moro tells him to go ahead, but to leave them alive; he intends to eat their life energy. Saganbo says he understands. Moro punches a ball of ki into Saganbo's back, powering him up considerably; Jaco did not know that was possible. Saganbo thanks him, and attacks No. 17. No. 18 tries to help out, but he is too powerful for both of them. Piccolo tells everyone to jump in, but even all of them together cannot do anything; Saganbo overpowers all of them, knocking Gohan and No. 17 to the ground. Jaco says this is definitely not the Saganbo he knows, and Piccolo is frustrated they have to deal with this guy before Moro.

Having defeated Koiter, Tenshinhan and Chiaotzu search out Yamcha, who is having a hard time with Zauyogi. They step in to help, and Zauyogi warns them that he is adviser to Saganbo's Galactic Bandit Brigade, and that he is a cut above those lowly convicts. Yamcha warns the others that he is tough. Meanwhile, Kuririn and Muten Rōshi catch a breather behind a rock while the giant fused woman searches for them; Rōshi thinks his old body will not last. Kuririn agrees they will probably lose, but he intends to go down fighting. He hopes Goku notices his last burst of power and comes to save them.

Out in space, Goku flies in Merusu's ship; he hopes he is going in the right direction. Suddenly, he senses flashes of the battle on Earth: Gohan vs Saganbo, Tenshinhan vs Zauyogi. He can barely feel it, not solid enough to get a lock on them. Then he feels Kuririn power up, and finally, he has what he needs. Back on Earth, Rōshi tells Kuririn to cut it out; that power is not going to do them any good against the giant woman. She attacks, and then suddenly, she is knocked out some distance away. Goku has arrived! He apologizes to Kuririn for showing up late, as always.
