Saganbo is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball franchise, debuting as prisoner and escapee of the Galactic Patrol in the Dragon Ball Super manga-original "Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc" in chapter 50.

Biography

Prior to being captured by the Galactic Patrol, Saganbo was the leader of a crew that rampaged through the entire galaxy.[1]

When Moro's third wish on the Namekian Dragon Balls provide the means for those at the Galactic Prison to break free, Saganbo leads a pack of loyalists to revolt, steal a spaceship, and escape. The group arrives on Namek; Moro is pleased, and as promised, shares a bit of his power with them. Saganbo watches from the sidelines as the escaped convicts take on Son Goku and Vegeta, urging them on even in the face of the Saiyan strength. As Moro continues to consume energy from the planet (dropping Goku lower and lower in transformations), Saganbo rushes in to attack. As the heroes attempt to escape, Saganbo notices a Galactic Patrol spaceship in the sky, but Merusu shoots his gun out of his hand before Saganbo can actually fire on it. Saganbo is confused as Goku and the others teleport away, while Vegeta meanwhile blasts off with Iriko.[2]

Saganbo's spaceship is the fastest that Iriko has ever known, and cannot be tracked by radar.[1]

Vegeta believes that without Moro's power-up, Trunks would have been sufficient to defeat Saganbo.[1]
