Summary
Two Galactic Patrol prison guards inspect Moro's cell in the Galactic Prison. They have heard about his scary magic that helped him escape; he left behind broken shackles and the bars of his cell were melted. The Galactic King has asked them to repair the cell quickly since Captain Merusu has set out to recapture Moro. They do not know what is supposed to stop him from breaking out again, but they have orders. One of them thinks that maybe they should worry more about the other prisoners, but the other says the others could never escape on their own; Moro is the only one they have to worry about.
The guards enter the control room for the main cell block and watch as two patrolmen escort the shackled Macareni Gang into their cels. Once they are secure, an agent asks them when they are going to learn their lesson, and Pastar tells him that a life of crime is the only life for them. As they walk away, the agent expresses his disbelief to his partner, suggesting they might actually love it in here.
From New Namek, however, a wish extends, hurtling through space toward the Galactic Prison. When it arrives, the patrolmen notice something is wrong. Then they see that all the cell barriers have dropped. In a panic, they try to restore them, but the power has gone out. Meanwhile, the prisoners have noticed they are free. One of the prisoners, Saganbo, realizes that Moro actually pulled it off. He is immediately joined by two companions. Ghetti tells Pastar this is their chance to run, and Pastar wonders if this is Moro's work.
The guards attempt to contact Galactic Patrol Headquarters, but they cannot get through. Then they are confronted by Saganbo and several other inmates. The patrolmen who brought in the Macareni Gang try to force them back into their cells with guns, but Saganbo uses telekinesis to take their guns and then demands the guards return his impounded spaceship. Saganbo shouts at the other prisoners to come along with him; he will not hurt them. Ghetti asks Pastar if they should go, and Pastar says they might as well join the party; it could be fun.
On the Galactic Patrol Spaceship near New Namek, Iriko tells Merusu that there is a message incoming from headquarters; he and Merusu read it together. Jaco asks them what is wrong, and Merusu tells him that the inmates at the Galactic Prison have all escaped. Furthermore, it happened one ment ago; Iriko says the message came late because they lost contact with the Galactic Prison. Jaco realizes that was around the time when Moro made his wish, and that causes Esca to remember Moro's final wish; Cranberi had used a mind-control helmet to force Esca to translate the wishes into Namekian.[1]
Back on New Namek, Moro tells Goku, Vegeta, and Dai Kaiōshin about his final wish. At that moment, a spaceship arrives; Goku can feel a lot of ki signatures inside it. During the upheaval of the ship's descent, Moro ascends to the ship's deck, where Saganbo bows and pledges his service to Moro, who congratulates him on a job well done; as promised, he will share his power with all of them. Goku and Vegeta realize that Moro must have been waiting for these guys to show up. Inside the ship, they feel the inmates' power rising, and realize that Moro must have used his magic again.
The escaped inmates exit the ship, and Moro orders them to attack. Vegeta and Goku power up to Super Saiyan Blue, and Goku warns them to stay sharp; these guys might be tough. Goku and Vegeta dominate the fight, and the inmates regroup; they did not expect Galactic Patrol guys to be this strong. Saganbo tells them to follow Moro's orders if they do not want to go back to prison; they must all attack at once to overwhelm them.
Suddenly, Goku and Vegeta slip into their Super Saiyan God forms. Dai Kaiōshin points out that Moro is absorbing their energy again. Goku moves to attack Moro directly, and Saganbo offers to take him. Just before they meet, Goku slips into Super Saiyan 3, and Saganbo punches him back to the surface of the planet, where Goku is now in his normal form. Vegeta, still a Super Saiyan God, yells at Goku to get it together, but then he slips into his normal form as well, and the inmate he was fighting knocks him down as well. He and Goku get up and transform into regular Super Saiyans; Vegeta says that the moment they drop their guard, their transformations fail. Goku asks Dai Kaiōshin if he is okay; he is on the ground, and Vegeta thinks the battle in space must have worn him out.
Two more inmates attack, and Goku and Vegeta fight them, but Goku asks Moro what he is really after. Moro tells him that he wants to create an ideal galaxy where he can consume planets at his leisure; these inmates will help him get a little closer to that goal. Vegeta asks if he has a grudge against the Galactic Patrol. Moro considers the question, and says that he detests all those who want to preserve peace in the universe, and he thinks all such people should be eradicated. Goku and Vegeta return to their normal forms again, and Vegeta is frustrated that they continue to fall for his tricks.
From the spaceship, Merusu and Iriko realize that the escaped prisoners have all come here; Merusu tells Jaco that they have to help their allies, and Jaco seems surprised that he is expected to join in. Then Esca volunteers to help, too; he cannot fight, but he can heal them. On the battlefield, Vegeta complains that the escapees are not getting any weaker; Goku says Moro must only be absorbing energy from them. Then, several enemies fall before their eyes. It is Merusu and Jaco, holding the line with their guns. Merusu tells them that they cannot defeat Moro right now; they must retreat. Esca heals Dai Kaiōshin and asks him to get up.
On his ship, Saganbo asks Moro who these people are, and then he notices their ship in the sky. He goes to shoot it down, but Merusu spots him and shoots the gun out of his hand. Saganbo does not understand how he was shot at that distance. Goku shouts up at Iriko to take the ship and get out, and then he offers to teleport everyone else. Merusu asks Dai Kaiōshin to use his own teleportation to meet the at Galactic Patrol Headquarters. Dai Kaiōshin grabs Esca and tells Merusu they will meet them there.
Jaco grabs on to Goku, and Merusu reaches for Jaco. Goku holds out his hand to Vegeta, telling him to come on. When Vegeta hesitates, Goku asks him what is wrong; if Moro absorbs any more energy, he will not be able to teleport. Vegeta is not happy about magic spells and god power at this moment, and that apparently extends to his long-standing disdain for Goku's teleportation.[2] They are Saiyans and they pride themselves on strength alone; they have no need for fancy parlor tricks. He is frustrated that he has been reduced to that reliance (again). Goku shouts at him to come on unless he wants to die here, but Vegeta has another idea. Then Jaco loses his gun, making the situation a little more urgent. Vegeta tells Goku that this is where they part ways, and takes off for the departing Galactic Patrol ship. Goku yells after him one last time, but then Merusu runs out of ammunition, and he tells Goku it is now or never. The inmates attack, and Goku teleports, leaving them confused. Saganbo asks where they went. On the Galactic Patrol ship, Vegeta lands on the windshield and tells Iriko to let him in.
At Galactic Patrol Headquarters, the Galactic King is taking a bath when Goku appears with Jaco and Merusu. Goku apologizes to him; his was the only familiar ki he could sense. Jaco bows and apologizes for interrupting his bath. Merusu asks Goku what Vegeta was on about, but Goku does not know. On New Namek, the inmates now attack the departing Galactic Patrol ship, but they cannot hit it. Iriko tells Vegeta that the ride might get a little bumpy, and then he puts the ship into overdrive. The inmates realize they have lost it. Saganbo asks them what they are doing, and Moro does not seem pleased. On the ship, Iriko is relieved to be out of it, and tells Vegeta they are headed to headquarters as well, but Vegeta threatens him with a hand and tells him he is going to fly where he wants to go. Iriko asks him where that is, exactly, and Vegeta tells him they are going to Planet Yardrat.
