It was published in Japan in the January 2020 issue of Shueisha's V-Jump, with a sale date of 21 November 2019.
Summary
Gohan battles Seven-Three and quickly gains the advantage. Piccolo congratulates him, and Gohan reminds his master that he knows his moves better than most. Piccolo does not know how to feel about Gohan beating a copy of him that easily, but he encourages Gohan to end it. Seven-Three next tries Piccolo's gigantification technique; he has no more luck against Gohan than he did before. Kuririn pauses from his fight with Yunba to see what is going on. Yunba is startled by the giant Seven-Three, and angry when Gohan easily topples him. Shimorekka encourages Seven-Three to get up; meanwhile Yunba abandons Kuririn to ask what is going on. Shimorekka says their data for this planet must have been outdated. They should have copied that other guy.
Seven-Three gets up, and Shimorekka tells him to get his hand on Gohan's neck, whatever it takes. Seven-Three tries using extendable arms, but Gohan easily dodges them. Kuririn joins Piccolo, happy that Gohan showed up. Piccolo says they can always count on him. Gohan fires up a Kamehameha to finish the job, using the extended arms as a ramp to Seven-Three's head, but just before he fires, Seven-Three's time runs out on Piccolo's abilities and he returns to normal size.[a] Jaco encourages Gohan to fire anyway. Kuririn is worried that the blast will destroy the planet, but Piccolo assures him Gohan will detonate the blast at the surface.
Gohan fires the Kamehameha, and Shimorekka tells Seven-Three to use what he has in stock. Then Moro appears in the center crystal on his forehead, and Seven-Three eats Gohan's blast. Jaco's sharp eyes can see Moro in the crystal, and he warns everyone that Seven-Three has Moro's powers now; he can store up to three identities at a time. Seven-Three begins absorbing energy from the Earth, and they realize they need to stop him now. Piccolo, Kuririn, and Jaco attack together, but Seven-Three throws up walls of flame to block them. Meanwhile, Shimorekka calls Saganbo to report that they had to use Moro's powers already; Yunba says he never thought they would have to use that so soon. Saganbo tells them to finish up quickly and get back there.
Saganbo's ship is hovering over a planet with small platforms rising up out of an endless ocean. Moro is disappointed that Saganbo's crew already had to use his copied abilities. Saganbo apologizes, telling him it was supposed to be a last resort. Moro admits that copying is a useful technique but he does not like having his neck grabbed and he does not want his powers used lightly. But he assumes it is being put to good use, and Saganbo tells him they can watch from here. He tells Koiter to pull up the live feed.
Back on Earth, Seven-Three has gathered a large ball of energy above his head, and even Gohan is feeling drained. Piccolo tells him this is Moro's energy absorption power, and Jaco wonders how it came to this. Shimorekka tells Seven-Three not to absorb the planet's energy; that must be saved for Moro. Seven-Three says he is only targeting these four. Moro asks Saganbo if this also has a time limit, and Saganbo confirms that it does; that is why they must end it quickly. He is surprised that Earth has beings stronger than his men; Moro says that ten million years ago, it was a planet of monkeys. They have evolved quite a bit.
Shimorekka and Yunba attack the weakened defenders of Earth and beat them easily, but Piccolo warns them that even if they die, Goku and Vegeta will take them down. Shimorekka asks who they are, and Seven-Three tells him they are the Saiyans who were on Namek. Kuririn adds that they are currently training. Saganbo asks Moro if he heard that; if they let them run free, it could come back to bite them. He suggests that Moro go and eat Earth first, and starts to order his crew to pull away from this planet,[b] but Moro tells him to wait. If Goku and Vegeta are training, they will give him even more energy when they are done. He orders Saganbo to pull his crew back from Earth, and he will go there when Goku and Vegeta return from their training. There is no need to hide from the Galactic Patrol anymore.
Shimorekka gives the orders, and Seven-Three releases the energy he was gathering. Yunba is disappointed, but Shimorekka tells him they are going to do this job later after those Saiyans show up. Seven-Three asks if he means Son Goku and Vegeta, and Shimorekka confirms, and tells the Earth warriors that they got lucky. Kuririn asks what is going on, and Shimorekka tells him that Moro is going to come eat those Saiyans personally, and then this planet will be finished. He encourages them to tell their Saiyan friends to get back here; they will be back in Galactic Cycle 7. Kuririn asks Jaco how much time that gives them, and Jaco says about 20 days. Jaco hurriedly informs the bandits that they will never make it back by Cycle 7; this planet has primitive technology so they need to wait at least until Cycle 8. Shimorekka says he will let Moro know. Seven-Three switches to the alien race he copied earlier and opens a portal to Saganbo's ship.
When they are safe, Kuririn asks Gohan if he is okay. Gohan apologizes for letting them get away, but Kuririn tells him they would have been in trouble had he not shown up. He tells Gohan to rest and let Dende take care of him, or a senzu. Piccolo asks Jaco when they will be returning; Jaco says two months. Kuririn congratulates him for buying them extra time. Jaco says he cannot die before that anime movie comes out next month. Just then, Bulma arrives in her ship with Dende and Esca. Earth is safe for now, but the countdown has begun.
On an uninhabited planet, Merusu receives a communication in his ship from Galactic Patrol Headquarters. He tells him that they will head to Earth in two months. Inside the time chamber, Goku is surprised to learn that Moro's friends went to Earth, but Merusu tells him that all is well; Jaco was there to help them. Goku is just happy they have more time than he thought; two months outside will be six months in this room. Merusu is sorry for all of the planets that will fall in the meantime, but they need to make capturing Moro their priority. Goku realizes the weight is on his shoulders; now he is full, and he is ready to get back to training. Goku asks Moro if he ever gets hungry; he has never seen him eat. Merusu says he can eat or not eat; it does not make a difference to him. Goku realizes that Whis said the same thing. Goku tells Merusu that if he did not have to, he would not eat this nasty food either.[c] They square off, and get back to training.
Outside the Omni-King's Palace, Whis watches Goku and Merusu train through his staff. Then the Great Priest emerges and apologizes for keeping him waiting. Whis bows, and tells his father that he assumes he is aware that their universe is in discord again. The Great Priest is aware; Universe 7 is certainly restless. Whis says he is ashamed for it. The Great Priest asks him what he needs; surely he did not come here to ask for his universe to be saved. Whis says he would never do that; Angels must maintain neutrality, siding neither with good nor evil. The Great Priest agrees, and asks what it is that Whis wants. Whis says he needs to confirm something regarding their Angel laws. The Great Priest guesses this will have something to do with the matter of Merusu. Whis was not certain that he was aware of the situation...

Notes

- ↑ The time limit on each person's abilities is thirty minutes.[1]
- ↑ 2.0 2.1 On the water planet, Saganbo's men are fighting beings resembling Caterpi, a character from anime-original material in Dragon Ball Z.[2]
- ↑ The Viz translation reads: "If it's the same to you, then maybe I won't eat either. The food here's kinda meh." This is a mistranslation; Goku cannot go without food.
