Toriyama did not get a Mac until thirteen years later. This chapter of Dr. Slump was also accompanied by a three-page "Akira Toriyama NEWS" comic. Also, the "Jump Readers' Cup" compilation for 1983, released on November 25th, featured Toriyama's story "CHOBIT" (the 3rd place winner).
