"The Tale of Donbe" is the twenty-second chapter of the Dr. Slump manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the 1980 #26 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.
This chapter was published as the twenty-sixth chapter in all collected volumes. It was moved to Dr. Slump Tankōbon Volume 3 in order to keep the two following two-part stories together, and all subsequent collected volumes followed suit though it was not necessary to achieve the same effect.
