This article is about "Panic at the Barbershop (Part 1)", originally published as the 23rd chapter of Dr. Slump in Weekly Shōnen Jump. For "Panic at the Barbershop (Part 2)", see Dr. Slump Chapter 24.

"Panic at the Barbershop (Part 1)" is the twenty-third chapter of the Dr. Slump manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the 1980 #27 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.

This chapter was published as the twenty-second chapter in all collected volumes. The original twenty-second chapter, "The Tale of Donbe", was moved to Dr. Slump Tankōbon Volume 3 in order to keep this and the following two-part stories together, and all subsequent collected volumes followed suit though it was not necessary to achieve the same effect.
