"Legend 4" is the fourth "Digest Edition" (sōshūhen) volume of the Japanese manga series Dragon Ball, with the sub-title, "Red Ribbon Army Arc (Part 2)". This volume compiles chapters 84 thru 112 as originally serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump, 1986 #34 to 1987 #12. Recreating the chapters as they were originally serialized, each chapter included in the volume retains its original color pages and title, logo, promotional slogans and text, and next issue preview.
Illustrations
The volume's cover combines two illustrations originally drawn by Akira Toriyama for the featured foldout poster included in the Weekly Shōnen Jump 1986 "Spring Special" magazine (Son Goku) and the title page for chapter 86 (Tao Pai-Pai). The volume's insert poster features an illustration originally included in Jump's traditional yearly calendar for 1987, which was a Dragon Ball-exclusive calendar distributed in Weekly Shōnen Jump 1987 #5.
