Notes

  • There are tons of roughs available of his work on Dragon Ball Super on Madarake. For ex. Roughs Set#1, Roughs Set#2 and Roughs Set#3, etc.
  • He is known for his distinctive smoke and effects work. Also, is one of the animator that really stood out in Super.[1]
  • Whether Ken'nichi Miuma (美馬健一) and Kenji Miuma (美馬健二) are same person or not is extremely complicated. They have both appeared in quite a few shows but never in the same episode, and both have started at a similar time. However, 美馬健一 mostly appears in Studio Guts episodes, while 美馬健二 has appeared in different studio episodes(including Studio Guts episodes). To make matters even more complicated, in Wild 7: Another #5, 美馬健一 is credited under studio Eagle Nest staff. That is the studio where 美馬健二 has worked under in many anime. That could simply be a mistake though, since another Eagle Nest episode in the series(#11) has 美馬健二 credited.
  • A Japanese anime fan also talked about how complicated and confusing it is[2]. Since this is a old tweet, they mention 美馬健二 as being Eagle Nest's staff.
  • Due to all the confusion we have not included both of their credits together in this page, even though Animator's Corner puts both their credits together. Only one thing we have left here is, Wild 7: Another #5, since that seems to be a mistake as explained in the first bullet.
