Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans is the umbrella title for a multi-platform series of games and video content produced by Bandai beginning in 1993. This series included two OVA episodes (released on VHS), a Nintendo Famicom game, two Bandai Playdia games, and (many years later) an updated and edited short film. The series was based initially around the Famicom game: the two VHS episodes were produced as "Official Visual Guide" and companion material to the Famicom title. This footage was then expanded and reused to create the two FMV-style Playdia games. The VHS episodes were included in the "Dragon Box Z Volume 2" DVD box set released on 18 September 2003.

Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans is significant in that it is the first Dragon Ball game to feature completely original content, elaborating on the backstory provided in the Bardock special to show a final revenge plot by the defeated Tsufurians. Material from the OVA was featured in Daizenshuu 5 and included in the official timeline in Daizenshuu 7.
