"Kame-Sen'nin's Final Mafūba!!" is the one hundred and forty-sixth chapter of the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the 1987 #46 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Summary
Piccolo laughs about this old guy who plans to challenge him, and the Turtle Hermit says this is not the first time they have met. The Turtle Hermit says he was there when Piccolo fought his teacher. His teacher's name was... Mutaito! Piccolo freaks out, and the Turtle Hermit pulls out a capsule. Out pops a Denshi Jar, and Piccolo freaks out even more. Tenshinhan realizes what is coming, as the Turtle Hermit reminds Piccolo about this technique. Pilaf wonders what's wrong, while the pterodactyl-looking guy cannot believe this.
Piccolo tries to fly away, but the Turtle Hermit throws his hands into the air, calling out, "Mafūba!!!!" Piccolo is caught in some kind of wave of magic, and the Turtle Hermit swirls him around, directing Piccolo toward the Denshi Jar. But, the Turtle Hermit slightly misdirects it, and Piccolo crashes a few inches from the Denshi Jar rather than inside of it. The Turtle Hermit weakly says this was a mistake, but tells Piccolo he believes that he will be defeated one day. And then the Turtle Hermit drops to his death, as Piccolo laughs. Elsewhere, Goku feels something is wrong, but he does not know what, and Yajirobe thinks he is weird.
Piccolo continues laughing about the Turtle Hermit's death, while Pilaf and everyone celebrate up in the airship. Piccolo says he has nothing left to fear, since there is nobody left to perform the Mafūba, and he laughs some more. Then he waves his fingers, bringing the five Dragon Balls up from the ground. He coughs up his two, bringing all seven balls together. Piccolo is prepared to have his youth and power restored, as Tenshinhan curses not being able to do anything.
