Dragon Ball Part 2 No. 15 is the twenty-seventh issue of Viz's Dragon Ball Monthly Comics, the original English-language printing of the Dragon Ball manga. It was released in May 2000 alongside the twenty-seventh issue of the "Dragon Ball Z"-branded chapters. All pages in this issue were originally printed in black and white.

The title page of chapter 53 is repurposed as a title page for chapter 52 on page 1 in its original black and white. The title pages for chapters 52 and 54 are omitted. In this issue, there is no delineation between chapters at all. Viz's titles for chapters 53 and 54, respectively "And the Crowd Goes Wild!!!" and "On the Road Again", are first given in the Viz Graphic Novels version of Dragon Ball Volume 5.
Cover Illustration
This issue's Akira Toriyama cover illustration was drawn for the 1986 calendar included in the 1986 #5 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump. This issue featured Dragon Ball Chapter 55 and went on sale on 20 December 1985 in Japan. The illustration gets a full-page reproduction in Dragon Ball Daizenshuu 1 ("The Complete Illustrations")[1] and a quarter-page reproduction in Dragon Ball Chōgashū ("A Visual History").[2]
Advertisements
Page 47 is an advertisement for the Viz adaptation of Magical Pokémon Journey. This ad is reproduced on the page for "Dragon Ball" Part 2-13.
Page 48 is an advertisement for "Let's Find Pokémon!", "Pokémon Origami", and "Pokémon Standees".
The inside of the back cover is an advertisement for Viz's shop-by-mail service. This ad is reproduced on the page for "Dragon Ball" Part 2-14.
The back cover is a full-color advertisement for various Pioneer VHS and DVD releases featuring Sol Bianca "The Legacy". This ad is reproduced on the page for "Dragon Ball Z" Part 3-3.
