"The Tenka'ichi Budōkai Draws Near" is the four hundred and twenty-ninth chapter of the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the 1993 #31 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Summary
In the gravity room at Capsule Corp., Vegeta is training and Trunks is with him. Vegeta tells Trunks he should leave, since 150G is probably too much for him. Trunks says Goten called last night to say he was entering the Tenka'ichi Budōkai, so he has to enter too. Trunks says this is too hard, and so he decides to turn Super Saiyan.
