"The Dragon Team Gathers!!" is the four hundred and thirtieth chapter of the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the 1993 #32 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Summary
"The Tenka'ichi Budōkai draws ever closer. Those who plan to participate have been finalizing their training and getting into the spirit." Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, Kuririn, Goten, Trunks, Videl, Mister Satan (reading a magazine), and Goku all continue their training. "And so, it begins at last!!! The Tenka'ichi Budōkai, that is, after such a truly long time." Most everyone is headed to the tournament in a plane being flown by Bulma. Chi-Chi asks Yamcha if he will be participating, but he says not this time. In the front row of the plane, Gohan doubts his father will recognize Kuririn with his hair, which makes Kuririn chuckle.
Gohan then asks Vegeta, Goten, and Trunks not to turn Super Saiyan at the Budōkai, with Bulma thinking that is a good idea since they will be on TV and could be recognized from the battle with Cell. Vegeta thinks he could just blow away any bothersome people, but Gohan says he must not. Vegeta relents, saying he will win either way. The boys are okay with that, too. At the Budōkai, there is a huge crowd, but they do not see Goku anywhere. Mister Satan arrives, and the crowd rushes toward him. He greets his fans, and they start chanting "SATAN" for him. An interviewer starts talking to Mister Satan and he tells her that he has a 120% chance of winning. The interviewer tries to ask Videl about her haircut, but she ignores it. Goten then spots Piccolo, and Gohan goes over and asks him if he has seen his father, but he has not. Just then, Goku lands, with the Fortuneteller Crone beside him.
Pretty much everyone starts to tear up, and runs to hug him, except Piccolo, Vegeta, No. 18, and the two boys. The Crone says she will be back in twenty-four hours, and heads off. Goku then wonders if that lookalike is his son, but Goten just hides behind Chi-Chi. Piccolo suggests that they all hurry up and sign in. At the registration table Trunks is annoyed to find out that there is now a Youth Division, for everyone under fifteen, although Kuririn is happy to hear that... The fighters all head inside, and everyone wishes them their best.
