"S–H–E–N" is the one hundred and seventy-fifth chapter of the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the 1988 #25 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Summary
Yamcha kicks at Shen, but Shen blocks it and punches Yamcha in the face. Bulma and Pu'er cheer him on, as the Turtle Hermit thinks Yamcha's opponent is just too strong. Yamcha flies at Shen with another kick, but Shen dodges it. He appears behind Yamcha and kicks him in the back. Shen lectures him about his useless jumping making it harder to avoid an opponent's attacks, and Goku wonders if this dude is...
Shen tells Yamcha he would have to do a lot of training to get to his level, and then whispers that he is not human. Yamcha asks if he is supposed to be an alien, and Shen says this is not his true form, he is just borrowing a person's body. Goku wonders about this change of form, and Kuririn asks Goku what they are saying, as they are talking so quietly.
Yamcha decides he will get really serious now, and he is going to try out this new technique of his. Yamcha holds his right hand out, with his fingers curved and the palm facing up, and then, a big ball of ki pops out. Yamcha launches his Sōkidan at Shen, but it misses. However, Yamcha can control the ball with his hands, and he brings it back toward Shen, but Shen dodges and it crashes through the ring.
Then Yamcha brings it back up, and it hits Shen in the face, knocking his glasses off. Shen is knocked back, but then he unexpectedly rushes forward and strikes Yamcha in the chest. Yamcha stumbles backwards, until he finally falls out of the ring. Upon hearing Shen announced the winner, Goku thinks, "Shen... Shen... Shenlong... Shen!!! I see!! I thought so, that man is God!!!" Shen and Yamcha then head backstage, and Shen hopes there are no hard feelings. Shen then turns to look at Goku, winking at him.
