Re: How long is a Saiyan's life span?
Along with a guidebook or two saying so, Toriyama himself has actually told us that Saiyans have roughly the same lifespan as humans. But rather than age steadily, they stay in their primes for much longer and then deteriorate quickly in their very late age.

Re: Has anyone not seen the entire series yet?
When i come to think about the movies, i haven't watched any of the two live-action movies actually. I'm afraid to, since i speculate that they will be to awful to watch through.

Re: Has anyone not seen the entire series yet?
I have only watched 3 or so episodes of kai. And GT i have watched in its entirety only once. At some time i would love to watch every ocean dub episodes of z, it's just something cheezy about it i found appealing.

Android 17 and 18s infinite power supply theory?
It's stated by the androids them self that they have an infinite power source. Since this likely contradicts physics, i was thinking that maybe there's an explanation that don't. What if, 17 and 18 doesn't have a power supply with an infinite energy source, rather their engines pick up air from the ...

Um.. penguintruth, don't you think you should let it go and move on with your life? No offense but the way you keep mentioning it, you're sounding like a nerd stereotype.

I think the saiyan saga is a great introduction to goku as well as piccolo's origin. I also like the battle between the z fighers and vegeta/nappa.

I liked the manga's ending, even though it was sad it ended it wasn't sad how it ended. I do also consider GT's ending the end in some respects, sorry Toriyama.

Re: How open are you with your fandom?
I wear my DBZ t-shirts casually, and talk entusiastically about my DB/DBZ dvds and mangas if the subject is relevant in a discussion about sparetime activities and what interests me. I would say i'm open about it, but i don't mainly talk about my nerdy hobbies when i'm socialize with others who do ...

Re: What's the most glorious moment in the series for you?
One of my favorites is the encounter with Raditz, This saiyan was one of the hardest matches goku had to face. Also, the arrival of Raditz revealed a lot about goku and his heritage, and in many respects an opening to a new epoch in the dragon ball universe. I also love the memorable fight with Goku ...

Re: Goku and women
As for Goku being not all that intelligent, he isn't but it's by upbringing and choice. He grew up away from civilization, and was likely only taught how to survive, fight and communicate verbally by Son Gohan. Maybe a few other things about the outside world, but not much. I think he had the ...

Re: Goku and women
Why are so many depicting goku as a intellectual underachiever? He's not a rocket scientist, but he's more than capable to do cognitive demanding tasks at hand, planning how to fix up a tricky situation, resonating abstractly. Sure, he lacks social graces and he's careless at times, but that's more ...

I've been pondering the same thing. Something related to physics i assume. Overall he did A LOT of math homework his entire childhood.

Re: Is Mr. Satan stupid or ignorant?
Yea, Satan is a good character, I like how he's a really good entertainer and his funny battle roar. Like Schemmel once said; he is someone you can relate to cause he's basically a regular guy with his faults and all.
