Summary
Shenlong tells them to hurry up, unless they have no more wishes. They try to think of another wish, and Yamcha says how the girl he's been dating has wanted an expensive necklace. Then Kuririn suddenly asks Shenlong to return No. 17 and No. 18 back into normal humans. Shenlong says he can't, they're both too much stronger than he is. No. 18 is still watching, and she's surprised. Yamcha wonders why he said No. 17 too, he should be dead. Piccolo says they revived everyone killed by Cell with the first wish, so No. 17 is probably alive again now. Then Kuririn tries a different wish, to remove the destructive devices from No. 17 and No. 18's bodies. Shenlong says he can do that, and then bids them farewell. Shenlong disappears, the Dragon Balls scatter, and the sky turns back to normal.
Piccolo cannot believe Gohan actually did it, and Yamcha gets excited. Piccolo, Yamcha, Kuririn holding No. 18, and Tenshinhan with Trunks over his shoulder land next to Gohan, and Yamcha excitedly goes on about how well Gohan did. Kuririn says they will go to see Dende, since all the senzu are gone. Yamcha picks up the exhausted Gohan, and he, Tenshinhan with Trunks, and Kuririn with No. 18, all fly off. Piccolo turns to Vegeta, and offers to lend him a hand. Vegeta tells him not to say anything unnecessary, since he does not need help. Piccolo smirks, and then flies off with the others. Vegeta says he was completely outdone by the both of them, father and son. He gets pissed at Kakarrot for dying like that. Vegeta says he will not fight anymore, and flies off somewhere on his own.

Trunks asks why he made that wish, and Kuririn says he just felt bad for them, having bombs in their bodies. No. 18 gets a thoughtful look on her face. Kuririn apologizes to Yamcha about his girlfriend and the necklace, and Yamcha laughs and says that was just a gag. Tenshinhan asks Kuririn why he asked for No. 17's bomb too, and Kuririn nervously says that he likes No. 18, but she probably likes No. 17, so... Piccolo says he doesn't understand this love stuff. Then No. 18 comes out of hiding and yells that she and No. 17 are twins. And she says she won't thank him for getting rid of the bomb. But then she calms down and just says, "See ya again", and flies away. Yamcha tells Kuririn that there's some hope in "See ya again". Piccolo says he doesn't understand it at all.
Mister Satan gets up, and sees everyone is gone. The announcer gets up shortly afterward, and runs up to Satan asking what happened to Cell. Satan hesitates, and then proudly says that he defeated Cell. They were just doing their tricks with balls of light, so he took care of Cell. The announcer asks about the others, and Satan says they thanked him and went home. The announcer thinks that is wonderful, and then yells into his microphone about Mister Satan saving the world from Cell. Everyone around the world cheers and chants "SATAN".

Kuririn says he can only be partially happy. He'll miss Goku. Tenshinhan says he's going home, since Chiaotzu is probably worried. He thinks they'll probably meet again sometime. They all say goodbye, and Gohan tells him to say hi to Chiaotzu. Tenshinhan tells Trunks to take out the artificial humans in his future, and then he flies off. Yamcha says they should go too. Gohan asks Trunks when he's going back to the future. Trunks says he'll stay the night, and leave tomorrow. Gohan asks Piccolo if he'll live here, and Piccolo says that's the plan. Gohan asks if he can come play sometimes, and Piccolo says of course. Then Gohan says goodbye to Dende and Mister Popo, and he flies off with Trunks, Yamcha, and Kuririn. They all wave to Karin and Yajirobe on the way down, and head their separate directions.
At God's Temple, No. 18 wakes up, as Dende has healed her. Yamcha yells at Dende to get away or he will be killed, but Kuririn says there is no need. Gohan has already been healed as well. No. 18 jumps back to her feet, but Kuririn says it is okay. Perfect form Cell was defeated by Gohan. No. 18 is surprised to hear it was Gohan, and Yamcha yells at her how incredibly strong he is, so do not try anything. Piccolo tells her she should thank Kuririn, as he looked after her after Cell spit her up. Kuririn tries to say it is no big deal. Then Gohan says, "I get it!! Kuririn likes No. 18!!" Kuririn whacks Gohan on the head, and Yamcha and Tenshinhan are surprised. No. 18 says she would not fall for him so easily, calling him a runt as she flies off. Yamcha yells out at her about how he should kick her ass, and Tenshinhan tells him he is too weak to do that.

Yamcha and Trunks go the same direction, and Trunks asks about his dad. Yamcha explains that Vegeta got pissed when Trunks was killed and attacked Cell. Trunks is actually happy to hear that. At the Son house, Chi-Chi cries, and Gohan comforts her. The next day... Everyone (Dr. Brief, Yamcha, Pu'er, Gohan, Kuririn, Bulma's mom, baby Trunks, Kame-Sen'nin) is all dressed up nice, as Bulma shakes Trunks' hand (his hair is cut again, and he's back in his original outfit). Trunks looks over at Vegeta, standing against a tree, and smiles. Vegeta gives him a two finger salute. Then Trunks leaves in his time machine, and everyone waves goodbye. There's an image of Goku with them.
Piccolo says more importantly, they need to return everyone to life, and Mister Popo comes out with a bowl full of the Dragon Balls that Goku had collected. Gohan tells Kuririn it is okay, he still has his friends, and Kuririn weakly says to shut up. The sky becomes dark and Shenlong appears. No. 18 notices the sudden darkness, and turns around. Yamcha says to please return to life all of the people killed by Cell, and then Trunks sits up. No. 18 is now watching from behind a nearby pillar. Piccolo says he does not feel Goku's ki, and figures it was no use. Shenlong wants the second wish. Yamcha asks if he could bring back Son Goku, but Shenlong says that is impossible. So they need to think of another good wish.

"Guys, it's Goku. I'm talking to you from the other world, please listen for a bit. Bulma kind of said it, but I attract bad guys... If you think about it, it really is true I guess. I think that without me, there'd be peace on Earth. Kaiō also noticed this. Besides, it's not like I think of myself as a victim. Since I've saved the Earth and stuff, I'll get special treatment. Ordinary people and bad guys like Cell become just souls. I get to keep my body! And since I'm dead, I won't age! Here in the other world, there are experts from the past, it should be very fun. Kaiō could have been returned to life by Shenlong just now, but he declined so he can keep me company. So, though it is sad for Chi-Chi and Gohan, you don't need to bring me back to life. Gohan is already more together of a person than me." Gohan disagrees with that. "With that, see ya! Some day when you guys are dead, let's meet again! Bye-bye!" An image of a happy Goku appears in the sky, and Kuririn thinks he was so cheery even while dead. Nonetheless, Shenlong wants the second wish.
