"Hyper Anime Dragon Ball" is a short feature combining traditional animation with computer-generated graphics originally screened at the "World of Akira Toriyama" festival in December 1993. The feature was later collected as a bonus video in the first Dragon Ball Z "Dragon Box" DVD release in March 2003.
Production
The Silicon Graphics Indigo line of workstation computers with the Elan graphics option, originally shipped in April 1992[1], was used to create Hyper Anime Dragon Ball.[2]
