"I'm the Star! Pan Blasts Off into Space!!" is the second episode of the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball GT. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 14 February 1996, receiving a ratings share of 19.7%. The episode was written by Aya Matsui and directed by Mitsuo Hashimoto.
Synopsis
Bulma quickly builds a spaceship after learning about the consequences of Pilaf's wish with the Black Star Dragon Balls. Goku leaves to pass the time, and is kidnapped by a pair mistaking him is Bulma's grandson. The kidnappers demand Bulma hand over a large amount of money in exchange for his life, however Goku easily escapes capture. Meanwhile, Vegeta forces Trunks and Goten to accompany Goku on the journey into space, thinking it would be good training for them. However, Goten gets a phone call at the last minute and takes it outside while Goku and Trunks enter the ship. The two are surprised when they find Pan on board. Excitedly, Pan presses the launch button, leaving Goten behind. And so, the trio's adventurous search for the Black Star Dragon Balls begins!
