Synopsis
Having found out about the Earth's fate thanks to the effect of the Black-Star Dragon Balls, Bulma built a spaceship with the goal of gathering the dragon balls and return to the Earth within one year. Goku, having nothing to do while waiting for the spaceship to be completed, goes out to keep himself busy and bumps into couple of the kidnappers. Mistaken Goku to be Bulma's grandson, they demand her to fork over a large amount of money in exchange for his life. Meanwhile, Vegeta drags and forces his son Trunks and Goku's son, Son Goten, to accompany Goku on the journey, thinking it would be good for them to build on their fighting skills. With the ship almost completed, Goten gets a phone call from his girlfriend while both Goku and Trunks go inside and unexpectedly walk into Pan. Excitedly, she then presses the launch button, leaving Goten behind. Thus the adventure of the trio on the search of the Black-Star Dragon Balls begins!!
