"The End of It All" is the three hundred and twenty-seventh chapter of the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the 1991 #26 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Summary
The Eldest tells everyone that they have been returned to life and brought to Earth, but someone says he does not see anyone from Elder Tsuno's village. Vegeta figures that was the village he annihilated, and the wish was only for those killed by "Freeza and his men", and Vegeta is not among them. Some Namekians get pissed at him, until everyone notices a bunch of huge stones falling to the ground. The Eldest says the Dragon Balls have followed them to Earth, and his life is almost up again. He names Muri, the elder from Dende's village, the new Eldest, and says to use the Dragon Balls when they regain their radiance. "That is my request... Eternal peace for the Namekians..." The Eldest then suddenly disappears. Piccolo says that now he will finally have a peaceful rest, and after hearing him say that Dende realizes he must have united with Nail.
Bulma asks where Goku and Kuririn are, so Gohan explains that Kuririn was killed by Freeza, and that his father stayed behind to fight, but he should be coming back. Piccolo wonders about him staying behind to fight Freeza, and Gohan says it was his own choice, on Kuririn's behalf. Bulma asks why Kuririn was not returned to life with everyone else, so Gohan explains that someone cannot be brought back twice. Dende is surprised to hear that that is how the Earth Dragon Balls work. The Namekian Dragon Balls can revive a person any number of times, aside from natural death. Gohan is excited that they can use Dende's people's Dragon Balls to return Kuririn and Chiaotzu to life.
But Piccolo gets pissed at Son Goku's stupidity, and that he has zero chance of winning. But Gohan says his father can definitely win. He saw him become a Super Saiyan. Vegeta overhears this and freaks out. Back on the battlefield, Freeza cannot believe Goku actually gave him some energy. Goku says that Freeza can survive in space, so he should hurry up and escape and be thankful for his life. Then Freeza says the planet is about to explode, and there is nothing left for Goku but death. Goku figures there is no time to reach his own spaceship, so he will take Freeza's. But Freeza laughs and says that Vegeta busted his ship up, and wonders if it can even fly. "It's ironic, huh. You, who won the fight, will die, while I will survive!!!" But Goku intends to live, and flies off. But then Freeza screams, "You're supposed to get killed by me!!!!!" and fires a blast up at Goku. Goku notices it and turns around, screaming, "You fool!!!!!", and fires a larger blast back down at Freeza, blowing him away. Goku looks down with a sad look on his face, and flies off.
