Summary
Toronbo asks Granolla if his wish is to be the most powerful being in the universe aside from the gods. Granolla confirms that this is his wish and asks Toronbo if he can do it. Toronbo says it is possible to make him stronger, but he cannot increase his power beyond his latent potential. Granolla is disappointed, but Toronbo adds that it would be possible if he were to agree to a condition. Granolla says he will accept any condition.
On Beerus's planet, Vegeta attempts to destroy a rock with the power of Destruction while Beerus reads God Comics. Vegeta destroys the rock, but Beerus observes that he just used a regular ki blast. When Gods of Destruction use Destruction, the target is completely erased from existence. When matter is destroyed, it releases a great energy. Beerus destroys another rock to demonstrate. Nearby, Goku sees the explosion and asks Whis if Beerus is destroying things again. Vegeta is impressed at the force that was released. Beerus explains that the explosion is the real highlight of using Destruction, but then he notices that his issue of God Comics has been destroyed.
Goku asks Whis if Beerus is really training Vegeta, and Whis asks if that is a problem. Goku says no; Vegeta can do whatever; he is here to refine his skill with Ultra Instinct. They will see which of them will be the strongest in the universe. Whis warns him that it might turn out to be someone else. Goku asks if he knows of someone stronger than them, and Whis says no, but the universe is vast, so who can say when the next strong guy will show up? Whis prods the Oracle Fish for backup, and the fish says the strongest warrior will soon rise up. Vegeta appears and informs the Oracle Fish that it will be him. Then he destroys a small pebble with Destruction. Whis snatches the Oracle Fish's bowl away to avoid the resulting explosion, and Goku congratulates Vegeta for his success. Vegeta tells him to watch out; he will be destroying much larger things soon.
Back on Planet Cereal, Toronbo departs, and the two Cerealite Dragon Balls scatter. Granolla's hair has grown long, almost to his waist. He decides to test out his new power, using telekinesis to levitate a nearby boulder. He makes a squeezing motion with his hand, and the rock explodes. This surprises Granolla, and he wonders what that technique even was. Back at his hut, Monaito wakes up and wonders what that shock wave was. He rushes out of his bedroom, calling for Granolla, and then he realizes that the Dragon Ball is missing.
Outside, Monaito finds Granolla and asks him what he has done. Did he really use the Dragon Balls? Granolla confirms that he did, and he is now the strongest in the universe. Now he can finally bring down Freeza. Monaito realizes there must have been a condition; surely he did not accept it. Granolla confirms that he did accept it, and Monaito regrets his foolishness. He warns Granolla that brandishing that kind of power is the best way to attract enemies, but Granolla says he will just defeat them. Monaito warns him not to let this power go to his head. Granolla goes silent, and Monaito asks him what is going on. Granolla says he cannot sense Freeza on any nearby planets, and Monaito is surprised that he now has this power. Granolla decides to ask Elec for Freeza's location, and he takes off. Monaito calls after him, but Granolla is gone. Monaito falls to his knees, distressed that he has upended Granolla's life yet again.
Whis watches through his staff as Granolla departs Planet Cereal in his spaceship. Goku asks the Oracle Fish if he is the greatest warrior in the universe, but Vegeta thinks it must be him. The Oracle Fish says he will not tell violent brutes like them anything, sticking out his tongue. Goku thinks he is being stingy, but the Oracle Fish takes off in his bowl. Goku yells after him to come back, while Whis continues to stare into his staff. On his ship, Granolla cuts his hair back to its former length. Whis understands what happened now, and he thinks this might cause some turmoil.
Two days later, Granolla arrives at the Heatas' base. As he enters, a servant tries to tell him that he cannot go in right now, but Granolla ignores him, opening the door to the throne room, where some ladies are dancing for the Heatas. Elec is surprised to see him, and tells him that they are in the middle of a show. What does he want? Granolla demands to know where Freeza is. Elec is annoyed that he is still on about that, but he motions to the musicians and dancers, and they depart. He reminds Granolla that he is not strong enough to defeat Freeza, but Granolla informs him that he is the strongest in the universe now. Maki thinks he is dreaming, and Oil thinks his obsession with revenge has caused him to snap. Elec tells Granolla that they have a full schedule and they were just about to sit down for dinner, so he should come back later. Granolla insists that he is not dreaming, and they should tell him what he wants to know.
Elec tells Oil to see Granolla out, so Oil moves to bounce him. He aims a punch, but Granolla dodges, tapping him in the gut with one finger and sending him crashing into a wall. Elec and Maki are aghast, and Maki demands to know how he did that. Granolla tells them again that he has gotten stronger. Elec is impressed. Maki checks on oil, and Elec tells him to get up and fight Granolla, so he does, but he cannot hit him no matter how hard he tries. Maki wants to know how Granolla is dodging everything. As the fight continues, Oil's prospects worsen and he eventually falls through a trap Granolla set in the floor.
Granolla tells Elec that they are not his enemies, but Elec says not to count them out just yet. Oil rises up from his hole with the chunk of rock Granolla had cut out. Elec tells him that Maki will tag in now, but Oil is not done yet; he tosses the chunk of rock at Granolla, but Granolla reduces the rock to dust. Maki asks if that was magic, and then promises to rip him apart. She attacks, but Granolla quickly ties her hands up with his scarf, tossing her around. Gas intervenes, cutting the scarf, and Maki thanks him, warning him to stay alert; Granolla is the real deal. But Elec tells Gas to stand down; they have seen enough of Granolla's power.
Elec tells Granolla that it is obvious that something strange is going on with this new power-up, but Granolla tells him that is none of his business. Elec asks why they should tell him where Freeza is, then; if he screws this up, they will have targets on their backs. They need some assurances. Granolla tells him that he used the Dragon Balls, confirming Elec's suspicions. Elec asks if Cereal has its own Dragon Balls, and Granolla says yes; that is how he became the strongest in the universe. Oil thinks this is unfair. Elec is satisfied, but he still does not know Freeza's exact location. He tells Granolla to go home and cool his head, and they will be in touch. Granolla tells him to make it quick; he does not have long to live. Elec asks him to elaborate; Cerealites typically live for about 200 years, and Granolla is only about 50 years old. Granolla explains that he sacrificed his remaining 150 years for this power.
In a flashback, Toronbo explains that he can multiply his current strength by condensing the power he might have gained over the course of his lifetime. He can only become the strongest by shortening his lifespan. Granolla asks how many years he would have left if he were to agree to this condition, and Toronbo tells him three years.
Maki thinks Granolla is crazy for accepting this condition just to beat Freeza, but Granolla departs, telling Elec he will be waiting. When he is gone, the Heatas sit down for dinner, and Oil asks Elec whether he will really tell Granolla where Freeza is. Maki thinks that if he takes care of Freeza for them, they can go on about their business without having to worry about him, but Elec says that if Granolla takes Freeza out, he will just take his place and they will have to answer to him. And besides, Granolla will probably destroy his army as well, which would foil their plans to take over that army for themselves. Having control of that army would open up many business opportunities for them. Maki reminisces on their deal with Freeza's guys to attack Planet Cereal and sell it to the naive Sugarians, who paid a small fortune for it.
Maki asks what their next move will be, then. Elec says that Granolla will have to die. Oil wants to know how they are going to pull that off if Granolla is the strongest in the universe, but Elec has an idea: they will use the Saiyans. Oil asks if he means the two who took down Moro; Maki notes that based on the info they got from Seven-Three, those two are really strong. Elec likes the odds of two on one, and Oil realizes that with Granolla's grudge against the Saiyans, it just might work. At long last, fate will bring these three together!
