Planet Yardrat is home to the Yardratians, a race of aliens capable of peculiar techniques such as Teleportation.
General Overview
An overview of the location, such as inhabitants, owner, significance, etc. Its length should be relative to the location's involvement in the series, but brevity and conciseness is still expected.
In Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta travels to Yardrat to add the Yardratians' curious techniques to his arsenal in preparation for a rematch with Moro.
Yardratians
The inhabitants of Yardrat have two starkly different appearances: one tall and wrinkly and the other short and pudgy. It is unclear if these two kinds of Yardratians share the same race, though both are capable of utilizing spirit control to perform techniques such as Teleportation. The Yardratians encountered by Vegeta after the desolation of Planet New Namek are capable of multiplying themselves and growing in size.
Yardratians are forbidden from teleporting off-world, but it seems as though this rule may be broken during emergency situations.[1]
Main Series
The following are Yardratians who appear by name in the anime and manga of Dragon Ball Super, as no named Yardratians appear previously in the series.

Name
Yardrat and some of its inhabitants are named after various kinds of rodents. Yardrat itself a simple combination of the English words "yard" and "rat". Two of the Yardratians encountered by Vegeta during his training, Bybara and Hatsuka, owe their names to capybaras and the Japanese terminology for house mice (ハツカネズミ; hatsuka nezumi) respectively.
Jimizu, a Yardratian from Universe 2's Yardrat, does not follow this naming scheme.
