"The Pompoko Transformation Gun・Arale Flies Through the Sky!" is the twelfth episode of the Japanese animated television series Dr. Slump: Arale-chan. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 01 July 1981. The episode was written by Shun'ichi Yukimuro and directed by Hiromitsu Morita.

This episode has two distinct parts: Part A adapts Dr. Slump manga Chapter 20: "The Pompoko Transformation Gun" and Part B adapts Chapter 13: "Arale Flies through the Sky!". Part B has its own prologue and title card.

Synopsis

A plane carrying Tarō and Arale crash-lands on a cloud where Gorosuke the Thunder God lives. Tarō and Arale are so excited that they begin to behave as they please, making it rain and dropping thunderbolts.[1]
