"Teacher Is Coming!・Arale Gets Kidnapped!" is the sixth episode of the Japanese animated television series Dr. Slump: Arale-chan. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 20 May 1981. The episode was written by Ayuko Anzai and directed by Toyo'o Ashida.
This episode has two distinct parts: Part A adapts Dr. Slump manga Chapter 19: "Teacher Is Coming!" and Part B adapts Chapter 18: "Kind-napped?!". Part B has its own prologue and title card.
Synopsis
When Senbei hears from Arale that the teacher is coming to visit him, he gets busy dressing up and cleaning up. When he whips up a barber robot to cut his hair, he gets a terrible hairstyle. Arale and Gatchan are held hostage by a bank robber, but they do not realize it and continue to play at full power. Finally, the robber gives up...[1]
