"Arale-chan Is Born!・Hiiiii~! Friends" is the first episode of the Japanese animated television series Dr. Slump: Arale-chan. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 08 April 1981. The episode was written by Masaki Tsuji and directed by Minoru Okazaki.
This episode has two distinct parts: Part A adapts Dr. Slump manga Chapter 1: "Arale Is Born!" and Part B adapts Chapter 2: "Hiiiiii~!". Part B has its own prologue and title card.
Synopsis
Senbei's proud creation, the girl-type android Arale, is complete! But Arale's refusal to hide her true identity in public keeps Senbei on edge. Even at school, Arale is at full power! She can solve the toughest problems with ease, and when she throws a ball, it reaches over the sea, leaving everyone in awe of this "super transfer student".[1]
Summary
Part A
Prologue A
The creator of Dr. Slump, Tori (Akira Toriyama's bird avatar) is introduced. He tries to draw something and then collapses, exhausted and short of breath. Ultraman fishes nearby on a cliff, and pulls the sun out of the water with his fishing pole.

The sun brushes its teeth, and a pig announces from a tree that it is morning in Penguin Village...
Part B
Prologue B
It is evening in Penguin Village. The pig walks past the Norimaki house, clapping two woodblocks together and telling the children not to play with fire. Inside, Arale puts on her pajamas and Senbei tells her school starts tomorrow so she should be sure to wake up on time. She shouts, "Hoyyyy!" and Senbei has a bad feeling about this. He tells her to hurry to bed, and she happily salutes.

Tori claps two woodblocks under the man in the moon, and it the picture scrolls to the sun sleepily brushing its teeth. Suppaman flies past as the pig announces from his scooter that it is morning once again in Penguin Village...
