"Goku's Power Wide Open!! Blow Away Yakon" is the two hundred and twenty-third episode of the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Z. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 13 April 1994, receiving a ratings share of 22.7%. It was written by Hiroshi Toda and directed by Yoshihiro Ueda.
Synopsis
Yakon's opponent is Goku! Babidi changes Stage 2 to the pitch-dark world, the Planet of Darkness, which is advantageous to Yakon. Goku becomes a Super Saiyan and illuminates his surroundings, but Yakon, he can eat light, and sucks up Goku's aura. Now knowing Yakon's ability, Goku becomes Super Saiyan once again and emits a powerful aura, forcing Yakon to suck up a huge amount of light and explode. And then at Stage 3, Dabra sallies forth...

- After Yakon nearly slices Goku with his scythe-like claws, Bobbidi observes that Goku seems nervous. Dabra opines that Yakon will win easily, but Bobbidi's mouth is animated as if he were speaking Dabra's line along with him.
