"Son Goku Runs in the Afterlife! The Million Kilometer Serpent Road" is the fourth episode of the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Kai. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 05 April 2009, receiving a ratings share of 11.1%.

Synopsis

Piccolo steals the unconscious Gohan from Bulma and the others, and takes him off to train in preparation of the Saiyans' arrival. God has a plan as well, and takes the dead Goku to see King Enma. God says that before Goku will be brought back to life with the Dragon Balls, he will train under Kaiō, who stands at the peak of all the gods in the universe! After receiving permission from King Enma to meet Kaiō, Goku begins running along the Serpent Road, said to be as long as a million kilometers. Elsewhere, Kuririn visits Goku's house, but is too uncomfortable to tell Chi-Chi and the Ox Demon King about Goku and Gohan. Meanwhile, upon testing out Gohan's dormant power, Piccolo tells Gohan to strengthen himself so as to be able to draw that power out.
