Kikono is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball universe by Akira Toriyama. Kikono makes his debut as a genius scientist serving Freeza in the "Dragon Ball Minus" bonus chapter of Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, published in the 2014 No. 19 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump; the character subsequently made their animated debut in the 2018 theatrical film Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

Biography

Kikono has served Freeza's family since the time of King Cold. He is a genius scientist whose inventions include Freeza's spaceship, armor, and scouters.[1] The scouters were originally said to have been invented by the Tsufruians and adapted by a Freeza engineer named "Gichamu"[2]; in this respect, Kikono may be a re-imagining of that character.

Dragon Ball Minus

In Age 739, Kikono engages with Freeza in his conspiracy to eliminate the Saiyans in light of the "Super Saiyan" and "Super Saiyan God" legends. Kikono believes it to be a bit of a loss considering the Saiyans' fighting prowess, but is complicit in Freeza's plan to kill them all in a month's time, with the additional plan to tell any remaining Saiyans that a meteor collided with the planet.
