Dyspo is a fictional character in the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Super and its companion manga series written by Toyotarō. Dyspo makes his debut in Dragon Ball Super Episode 85, broadcast on 09 April 2017 on Fuji TV, as a member of the Pride Troopers of Universe Eleven.
Biography
Dyspo is the raid-commanding officer of the Pride Troopers. A super-fast warrior, he is able to instantaneously increase his movement speed thousands-fold.[2]
Name
Dyspo's name is likely derived from the katakana rendering of "disposal" (ディスポーザー/disupōzā), used specifically to refer to a food disposal system attached to the drain of a kitchen sink. This name pun follows the theme of the Pride Troopers being named after items found in a kitchen.
Performance
Dyspo is voiced by Bin Shimada, best known as the voice of Broli. In the Funimation dub, Dyspo is voiced by Christopher Dontrell Piper in his first role for the Dragon Ball franchise.
