His name is Krillin!
015 Look Out for Launch Goku and Krillin roam the skies to find Master Roshi a date. Down below, a mysterious blue-haired girl enters a saloon with a bag full of cash. Her name is Launch, and she seems harmless enough. But when she sneezes, she transforms into a blonde femme fatale! Goku rescues the girl knowing nothing of her deadly secret.
016 Find That Stone! With the arrival of Launch, the old teacher agrees to teach Goku and Krillin Martial Arts! The group packs up the house and is off to a larger island, where training begins! Within the island jungle, the boys must endure life-threatening obstacles, including dinosaurs, saber-toothed tigers, and Launch!
017 Milk Delivery Master Roshi awakens Goku and Krillin early to initiate their rigorous training exercises. The day begins with the two young students delivering milk across the countryside. A simple task? Not when it's done the Turtle Hermit way!
018 The Turtle Hermit Way Goku and Krllin's first full day of training continues, and the boys discover all too soon the many dangers of the island. Among them — a man-eating dinosaur, a swarm of angry wasps, and a machine gun-wielding Launch! It's just another day of Turtle Hermit Training!
019 The Tournament Begins Goku and Krillin have completed basic training and are ready to learn Master Roshi's teachings about the secret of Martial Arts. But the old teacher has another lesson in mind — he enters them in the prestigious World Martial Arts Tournament! But before the boys can qualify, they'll have to make it through the heated Elimination Round.
020 Elimination Round There's a fight every minute! Krillin confronts his past when he's thrown against the bully that expelled him from the Orin Temple. Character Profiles

These character profiles are only included on Disc 1.

Taught martial arts by his adoptive grandfather Gohan, who raised him out in the wilderness, Goku is very strong, agile, and fearless. He'll take on any fight no matter what the odds are if he thinks that someone has been wronged.

Krillin is a young boy who comes into action when he arrives to study martial arts under Master Roshi. Driven to be the best martial arts fighter, Krillin will do whatever it takes to win, even cheat. Krillin tries to keep up with Goku as they become the best of friends and friendly rivals.

An ancient and wise master of martial arts, Master Roshi has accumulated great power and wisdom. He is very old and hermitlike. Although he may appear quirky, frail and harmless, Master Roshi is indeed a great warrior. He is master of the "Kamehameha" a tremendous attack.

On the one hand, Launch is an innocent, naive young woman, but when she sneezes she becomes an out of control, gun-toting femme fatale. Her reckless half is always getting her into trouble, especially with the law.

Bulma is one independent and determined teen. She'll do whatever it takes to get what she wants and won't let anything stand in her way - not mountains, monsters, or pride. Bulma is also a mixed up teen with a quirk that won't allow her to shut-up. She's a mechanical genius who can operate and fix anything.

Yamcha is a powerful and feared warrior who can call upon the "Wolf-Fang Fist", a move he uses to vanquish his enemies. Initially, Yamcha seems more like a bully than a hero, but he comes around. Although he's incredibly cool, and under control, he is preposterously shy around women, especially Bulma.

Oolong becomes one of the good guys after a rocky beginning terrorizing a small village. A talented shape-shifter, he can transform himself into a whole assortment of fearsome monsters, regular everyday people, or even very useful things such as motorcycles, boats, and rockets.

Puar is a talking blue cat who is fiercely loyal to Yamcha and will do anything for him. He has a quiet, shy personality but is always there for his friends. Puar also went to the same shape-shifting school as Oolong.

One of the finalists in the World Martial Arts Tournament, the Beast Giran has a reputation as one of the more dangerous fighters. Ruthless and hard-of-heart, Giran is always eager for a fight, and enjoys pounding anyone foolish enough to challenge him.

One of the finalists in the World Martial Arts Tournament, Bacterian is one enormous fighter. But, Bacterian's most powerful weapon has nothing to do with his strength - it's his odor! He waits for his opponent to grab their nose and then he attacks!

Nam is an honorable warrior, and although he is well versed in fighting arts, it is against his code to cause harm to any living thing without just cause. But should that cause arise, Nam possesses an arsenal of devastating moves, the most fearsome of which is his Aerial Attack.

The beautiful Ranfan is the only woman to advance beyond the elimination round of the World Martial Arts Tournament. She packs a mean punch, and uses her feminine wiles to throw her easily distracted male competitors off guard.

Menu

The main menu is identical on both discs, featuring Goku and Kuririn behind a turtle (亀 kame) symbol and the background music (BGM) track A-1, an instrumental arrangement of "Mystical Adventure" over the song's karaoke track. A-1 is track #01 on Disc 5 of the Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z Daizenshuu CD set. The vocal substitution parts on A-1 were probably arranged by Shunsuke Kikuchi and recorded in his studios along with all the other BGM listed below.

The Disc 1 Episodes menu features the blue-haired "good" Launch behind the turtle symbol, and the BGM piece numbered K-63 in the Kanzenshuu catalogue. This piece was released as part c of track #06 on Disc 2 of the Daizenshuu collection, but it has no official catalogue number. The Disc 2 Episodes menu features the blonde "bad" Lunch, and the unreleased BGM piece K-92, a saxophone number that is always used for scenes laden with innuendo.

Both Language menus' visuals are the same, featuring Goku punching behind the turtle symbol. Disc 1 features the unreleased BGM track K-89. After the introduction, the opening bass motive is looped for a total of four 4-bar iterations, and then it skips to the very end of the track. Disc 2 features the BGM track M13, part b of track #14 on Disc 2 of the Daizenshuu collection.

Both Extras menus feature Krillin in a martial arts stance behind the turtle symbol. Disc 1 features the unreleased BGM piece K-95, while Disc 2 features M16, part c of track #15 on Disc 2 of the Daizenshuu collection.

Both Trailers menus feature Yamcha attacking behind the turtle symbol; neither of these menus have any music.
