"And So, The Situation Takes a Turn for the Worst... Cell Attacks No. 18!" is the is the seventy-ninth episode of the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Kai. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 05 April 2009, receiving a ratings share of 9.2%.
Synopsis
After some convincing, Vegeta finally lets Cell go. Fleeing through the air, Cell discovers No. 18 and 16 hidden in the woods. Cell attacks, trying to absorb No. 18, but Trunks stops him. However, Vegeta wants to fight Cell in his perfect form, and actually attacks Trunks. In order to not have the Hellish future he has seen repeat itself, Trunks attacks Vegeta. Kuririn and the rest try to flee as Trunks fights Cell. But Cell uses the Taiyō-Ken to blind them all, and finally absorbs No. 18. Having absorbed No. 18 at last, Cell begins to transform, giving off ki formidable enough to shake the entire planet.
