Tenshinhan, Chiaotzu, and then Yamcha fly in to where Piccolo and the others are fighting the Saibaimen. Vegeta suggests they stage a game of one-on-one, so first Tenshinhan faces off against a single Saibaiman. The Saibaiman shoots acid from its head, but Tenshinhan defeats it. Vegeta destroys the Saibaiman, telling the rest not to hold back. Next, Yamcha chooses to fight in place of Kuririn, but the Saibaiman he defeats latches onto him and self-destructs, killing Yamcha.
