"Goku Goes Berserk! The Evil Saiyan's Rampage!" is the second episode of the Japanese promotional animated web series Super Dragon Ball Heroes. The episode was first shown at Jump Victory Carnival on 16 July 2018. It was written by Atsuhiro Tomioka and directed by Yui Komatsu.

Synopsis

Goku and co. are helpless against the Evil Saiyan, who is shrouded in an overwhelming large, sinister ki! Goku is enveloped by the evil Saiyan's ki and runs wild, but an unexpected savior comes to the rescue![1]

Summary

As the Evil Saiyan powers up in his tower, Fu watches him from afar and is glad he brought him to the Prison Planet. Elsewhere Goku, Vegeta, and Mai walk along in search of Trunks. Goku wonders where the strong guys Fu talked about are, but Vegeta tells him to shut up and help them locate Trunks's ki. Suddenly though, they sense an immense evil ki fast approaching. It's the evil Saiyan! Realizing the danger, Goku tells Mai to hide somewhere safe.

Goku and Vegeta charge this newcomer (with Goku becoming regular Super Saiyan and Vegeta remaining in his base form), but Goku draws back in pain the moment his fist comes into contact with the evil Saiyan's aura. Goku screams as the pupils disappear from his eyes, and he suddenly goes berserk and attacks Vegeta. One of Goku's stray ki blasts closes in on Mai, but Trunks suddenly appears and knocks it away. While Trunks wonders what Mai is doing here, Vegeta tells him to handle Kakarrot while Vegeta himself goes after the evil Saiyan.

When Vegeta rushes at the evil Saiyan, he is suddenly stopped by a blast from the side. It's Coola! Fu announces via intercom that everyone had better be careful: the evil Saiyan is named "Cumber", and his evil ki will snap the mind of anyone it touches. Trunks tells Vegeta that Coola is on their side, though Coola notes that they merely share a common objective. Coola grapples with the berserk Goku, while on the sidelines Mai pulls out Trunks's sword and other items from a capsule.

Coola manages to knock Goku away, and recalls how Fu told him that Freeza surpassed him by becoming Golden Freeza. However, Coola claims that anything his younger brother can do, he can do too! With that, Coola powers up into a golden form he likewise dubs "Golden Coola". Knocking Goku aside again, Golden Coola charges up a large energy ball and hurls it at Cumber. The entire area is rocked by a tremendous explosion, and when the dust clears, Goku is lying on the ground in his base form. Trunks approaches, and confirms that Goku has returned to his old self.

Cumber announces that he has taken a liking to this group, and demands that they fight him. He rips out of his restraining vest and fires blasts randomly around the area. Seeing this, Mai takes out a pair of Potara from her pocket and throws them to Goku and Vegeta. She explains that Kaiōshin gave them to her. Trunks goes Super Saiyan and attacks Cumber with his sword in order to distract him long enough for Goku and Vegeta to fuse. However, Cumber quickly overwhelms Trunks and grabs him by the throat. Coola blasts Cumber from afar, but to no effect.

Angered at his son's fate, Vegeta puts on the Potara and tells Goku to do the same. The two fuse into Vegetto, who confidently tells Cumber that the fight is on.
