Jheese is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. Jheese makes his debut in Chapter 272, published in the 1990 #21/22 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Biography
Early Life
Jheese was a pitcher in the Galactic Little League, and it was there that he developed the Crusher Ball as his special technique.[3]
I was both a pitcher in the galactic little league and an attacker in space volleyball. It was during this period that I developed my killer technique, the Crusher Ball!!

Namek Arc
Name
Jheese's name (ジース/Jiisu) comes from the English word "cheese" (チーズ/chiizu). Toriyama changed the first consonant.
This is a pun on cheese.

The other members of the Ginyu Special Force are named after dairy products as well: Ginyu (ギニュー/Ginyū) from the Japanese word for cow's milk (牛乳/gyūnyū), Butta (バータ/Bāta) from "butter" (バター/batā), Reacoom (リクーム/Rikūmu) from "cream" (クリーム/kuriimu), and Gurd (グルド/Gurudo) from "yogurt" (ヨーグルト/yōguruto). Freeza's underlings all take their names from items one might find in a refrigerator.[4]
Jheese uses the masculine first-person pronoun ore (オレ) to refer to himself.[5]
