Name
Several characters introduced in Dragon Ball Daima appear to have plant-based names. As such, "Glorio" likely comes from the Gloriosa plant, commonly known as lilies.
Throughout Dragon Ball Daima, Son Goku keeps mispronouncing Glorio's name.
- Episode 4: "ゴリロ" (Goriro) twice
- Episode 5: "ゴリロ" (Goriro), "グ… ゴ… ゴロリ" (Gu... Go... Gorori), "ゴリロ" (Goriro) again
- Episode 6: "ゴリロ" (Goriro), "グ… グロリオ" (Gu... Gurorio) (this is correct), "グリロ" (Guriro)
- Episode 10: "グリロ" (Guriro)
- Episode 13: "ゴリロ" (Goriro)
- Episode 19: "グリロ" (Guriro), then finally gets it right: "グロリオ" (Gurorio)
- Episode 20: Back to "ゴリロ" (Goriro), but with an added "大臣" (Daijin), addressing him as Minister
The FUNimation/Crunchyroll dub takes it further, changing the name every time Goku says it: "Gordito", "Gorilo", "Guerrero", "Giorgio", "Gazebo", "Grillo", "Giliro", "Gliro".
