"Zamasu vs Universe 7! Ambition's End!" is the sixteenth episode of the Japanese promotional animated web series Super Dragon Ball Heroes and the ninth episode of the Universal Conflict arc. The episode was released directly to the web on 10 October 2019. The episode was written by Atsuhiro Tomioka and directed by Takao Kiriyama.
Synopsis
The universe seed has finally filled with energy! Having taken in the completed universe seed, Hearts plots further evolution inside a “cocoon”. Will Goku and co. manage to thwart Hearts’ scheme?![1]
Summary
Goku and co. watch as the cubes gather around the Universe Seed. Vegeta tries attacking it, but Zamasu deflects his blast. Goku and the others try attacking, but Zamasu likewise repels their attacks. Trunks asks Zamasu again why someone who tried so hard to kill all mortals would protect a mortal like Hearts. Zamasu tells him that Hearts will destroy the Omni-King, which will remove the only obstacle to the realization of his Zero Mortal Plan.
Zamasu raises a hand and attacks with his Hammer of Judgment, raining down fire on everyone. Zamasu then attacks Vegeta, No. 17, Piccolo, Goku, and Trunks in turn. When Goku recovers, he attacks Zamasu and fights him evenly for a while, but Zamasu traps his arms behind his back in a lock, pressing against his back with a foot. Trunks calls out for Goku in despair, but then suddenly, Jiren falls out of the sky and attacks Zamasu. Piccolo realizes that the Kaiōshin of Universe 11 must have sent him.
Zamasu tells Jiren that resistance is futile and prepares to attack with his ki blade. Zamasu regains the halo he once had, and moves to attack again, but then Hit appears in a Time Skip. Hit punches Zamasu away, and Zamasu is offended that this mortal dared to strike a god. Jiren acknowledges Hit, and Hit explains that his Kaiōshin hired him for this job. They attack together with Goku, but then an intense wave emanates from the Universe Seed, blasting them away. Piccolo observes that its ki is rising. Zamasu cannot wait, and Vegeta has a bad feeling.
Goku warns everyone that something is coming, and then the Universe Seed explodes, revealing Hearts, who transforms and grows spikes from his back. Then several spheres from the Universe Seed surround him. Zamasu smiles, but then Hearts pulls Zamasu to him, immobilizing him. Hearts tells Zamasu that he has done a good job, and he appreciates his immortal power, but unfortunately for him, Hearts wants to destroy the gods. Zamasu is trapped inside a cube, which then disappears.
At the Omni-King's palace, the Great Priest notices that something is happening. Hearts tells the Universe 7 warriors to behold, and in one swift strike, all life on the planet is eradicated, except for the fighters. Hearts tells them to behold the ultimate godslayer.
