Huwa is a fictional character in the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Super and its companion manga series written by Toyotarō. Huwa makes his debut in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 7, published on 21 December 2015 in the February 2016 issue of V-Jump, as the Kaiōshin of Universe 6. His anime debut is in Dragon Ball Super Episode 32, broadcast on 21 February 2016 on Fuji TV.
Biography
Huwa is the Kaiōshin of the third lowest-level universe. He was awestruck to see Goku enjoying his fight with Hit during the martial arts match with Universe 7.[1]
Tournament of Power

When the Great Priest informs the gods of each universe about the upcoming Tournament of Power, he invites them to attend the Zen Exhibition Match to sate the curiosity of the Omni-King from the future, who has never seen a martial arts tournament. The Great Priest creates an arena in a void that appears to be located beneath the Omni-King's palace, and brings in the gods from all the other universes to observe the match. Huwa is in attendance along with the God of Destruction Champa and his Angel Vados.[2]
After the exhibition match is concluded, Cae hosts a video call meeting of all the Kaiōshin from the Universe 11 Kaiōshin Realm. He asks them all to keep the news about the Tournament of Power secret from the inhabitants of their universes. Gowasu agrees that this is a good idea, but he wonders where Shin is. Cae explains that he excluded Shin because the tournament was Universe 7's idea. Rou says that Cae is wasting their time; he is busy trying to find more fighters for the tournament, and he leaves the call. Huwa yawns ostentatiously, and Peru admonishes him. The tournament sounds fun, and he is sure that Universe 2 will survive. Ea disagrees; Universe 3 has intellect. Peru says that only battle power matters. Ea says he cannot stand musclebound idiots. Peru and Ea continue to bicker, and Cae asks them to calm down. Kur finds their display pathetic.
Cae proposes that they ask the Omni-Kings to reconsider the tournament; surely if they tell him their consensus opinion, he will give them a reprieve until they can raise their mortal levels above 7. Ea and Peru think this is foolish; the Omni-Kings have already decided. Kur warns that if the suggestion displeases the Omni-Kings, they could all be erased on the spot. Kur says that he is busy, Huwa yawns again, and Gowasu says he agrees with Kur. The Kaiōshin all leave the call.
Champa calls a video meeting of all the Gods of Destruction from his location in the Universe 6 Kaiōshin Realm. He tells them that the Kaiōshin have just had a meeting, and asks the other Gods of Destruction whether they are planning anything shady for the Tournament of Power. They assure him that they are not. When the meeting is over, Huwa asks Champa if he can leave the recruiting to him. Champa says that he does have some experience with this, so Huwa begs him to please take care of it. Champa tells him to pull himself together; he is their Kaiōshin. Champa thinks he worries too much, but Huwa says he cannot help it. Vados asks where they should start, and Champa says they need Saiyans to fight the other Saiyans, so Vados contacts Cabba, and Champa tells him to find someone stronger than himself. They need more Saiyans![3]
Name
Huwa's name pun is unknown, but many Kaiōshin appear to have been named after deities, and Huwawa (フワワ/Fuwawa), a monstrous giant who serves as guardian of the godly realm in Mesopotamian mythology, is a likely source for his name.[4]
Performance
Huwa is voiced by Yasunori Masutani, who has played several minor roles for the franchise beginning with Dragon Ball GT. In the Tournament of Power, Masutani also voices Rou, the Kaiōshin of Universe Nine. In the FUNimation dub, Huwa is voiced by Gregory Lush in his first credited Dragon Ball role.
