"Come Forth, Shenlong! The Saiyans Finally Arrive on Earth" is the twenty-first episode of the Japanese animated television series Dragon Ball Z. The episode first aired in Japan on Fuji TV on 27 September 1989, receiving a ratings share of 18.6%. It was written by Keiji Terui and directed by Minoru Okazaki.
Synopsis
Having reached the end of his training, Goku tests out the Kaiō-ken as well as the Genki-Dama, an attack generated by borrowing energy from surrounding lifeforms. After receiving Goku's message from the afterlife, Kame-Sen'nin uses the Dragon Balls to call forth Shenlong, who restores Goku to life. However, Kaiō had forgotten to factor in the time it would take for Goku to traverse the Serpent Road, meaning he will arrive to the fight a day late. The next day at 11:43 AM, the Saiyans land in East City.
