Beets is a fictional character who makes his debut in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly theatrical film.

Biography

TBD

Name

Beets' name is likely taken from the English word "beets" (ビーツ/biitsu). This name pun follows the theme of Saiyan characters being named after vegetables.

A similar name — Beat (ビート/biito) — had previously been used in Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission and subsequent Heroes-adjacent merchandise. While the name was seemingly another vegetable-based pun, subsequent characters such as Note and Forte appeared to set up a music-based name pun series.
