兎人参化 (Toninjinka) literally translates to "Rabbit who Turns People into Carrots". In the manga his name is written with a space between the 兎 and the 人参化, as if to indicate that 兎 were his surname and 人参化 his given name. 兎 (to) means "rabbit"; 人参 (ninjin) means "carrot"; and 化 (ka) is a suffix that translations to "-ification".
