Tsuno is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. Tsuno makes his debut in chapter 259, published in the 1990 #08 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Biography
Tsuno is one of the elders of Planet Namek who keeps a Dragon Ball in his village. In Age 762,[1] the Saiyan Vegeta comes to this village looking for the Dragon Ball. Tsuno senses the evil in him and refuses to hand it over, which prompts Vegeta to kill everyone in the village. When only Tsuno is left, Vegeta asks him to cooperate once more. Holding one of the fallen children in his arms, Tsuno says he cannot possibly do so, and gets blown up. Vegeta finds the Four-Star Ball among the ruins of the village.[2]
When most of the Namekians are brought back to life, those from Tsuno's village are not among them. A wish was made upon the Earth's Dragon Balls to resurrect those who were killed by Freeza and his men, but Vegeta was no longer working for Freeza when he killed Tsuno and the others.[3]
